Description

A mixed-use four-storey complex with commercial spaces at the ground and a residence at the rest of the floors. Steps with the planters leading to the store and segregated parking way leading to the house above. The store covers the height of two storeys owing to the norm of higher floor heights for commercial spaces and a mezzanine for storage which is extended till parking. Parking is also supported by circular columns and beautified by large lotus motifs on the wall. The highlight of the building is the frame created on the third level with a brown envelope which completely covers the projecting edge and slopes like a dutch wall on the windows and also showcases lotus punches over them. This converts into a thick frame as we reach the front facade where it chamfers at the edge and becomes a simple handrail for the balcony. The chamfered portion also has a big lotus cutout. The handrail covers the whole balcony to the room wall. The room wall is cladded with stone textured tiles in light brown with wall lights on them. Other facade parts have box projections in brown around them. The handrail of the terrace is made from closely spaced metal with a projecting piece over them perfect to place plant pots. A space frame projects out from the topmost ceiling supported by V-shaped steel columns from the railing. This space frame is ideal to grow creepers which act as natural shield from rain when they are densely grown.
