ISO 216 standard system has defined the A – series which consists of a logical set of paper sizes. The largest size A0 measures one square meter (1 m2). Height to width ratio of all pages is the square root of two (i.e. 1.4142: 1) remains constant for all sizes. This means you get the A1 size by folding an A0 paper in two along its shortest side. Then fold the A1 size in two to get an A2 size paper, and so on as shown in figure…
