- First, scrape hardened wax with a dull knife. Place few ice cubes in a plastic bag and put against the wax that has dripped on the carpet. The ice will make the wax brittle and you will be able to break it off or you carefully pull off the drippings. This is one of the easiest methods of carpet cleaning.
- Once the wax has cooled and hardened, use your spoon or butter knife to remove candle wax from carpet.Cut off the section of a plain brown paper bag or paper towel and place it on top of the melted wax. With a medium hot iron, press the paper for several times – just long enough to soften the wax and get it stuck to the carpet under its soft state.

- Go over the stained area with a carpet cleaning solution to get rid of the last bits of wax or any dirt stuck on it. Sprinkle a little carpet freshener to make your cleaned carpet smell nice.
