Jaydutt Tailor is a Structure Engineer by Profession, holding a master’s degree in Civil Engineering Structure from City University, London. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Kingston University, London. He is counting his rich experience since 2012.

Jaydutt Heads the Gharpedia & also enjoys editing & writing articles. Gharpedia has been promoted by SDCPL. Mr. Tailor has been working since ‘Day 0’ of Gharpedia. He manages a team of creative people, including content writers who are civil engineers, architects, etc., IT team, developers, designers, & graphic designers. Jaydutt also manages the creation of products and services that GharPedia offers to their loyal readers. He leads the team’s efforts to ensure that all the operations runs smooth and financial goals are met. He also makes sure that all the team members are happy by giving them moral support, encouragement! Besides overall content management, he also manages Design & Development of the website and Digital Marketing & SEO.

He has been one of the key leaders in Design and Development of GharPedia along with founders since its inception. He is a part of the core team for strategy and planning at GharPedia primarily because of his passion for innovation and creative thinking.

Another section is “Best Home Design“, where they provide albums of Various Home Elements to take the Inspiration as the for their readers. They also provide tentative cost estimates through various calculators & Online Exhibition of wide range of Construction materials of various brands.

Jaydutt also works as a Structural Engineer at Sthapati Designers & Consultants PVT. LTD. (SDCPL). SDCPL is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy organization in India that offers design solutions and provides professional services in Architectural, Civil, Structural, Transportation, Infrastructural and Environmental Engineering.

As a Structural Engineer, his responsibility included modelling and analysis of the structure using software such as STRUD (CSC), ETABS, Staad Pro, SAFE, RCDC, ESR-GSR. Furthermore, duties also include to carry out the detailing of the structural members by taking care of Indian Standards. Duties also include making of BOQ for all types of projects. His site inspections ensure that the construction is as per the provided norms / drawings / standards.

He is also responsible for structural designs of some of the major projects like Multi-storey Buildings for Gujarat Housing Board at Various Location – Surat, Vadodara, Jamnagar, and Junagadh, Ayurvedic Hospital at Ahwa, Staff Quarters at Goa Airport for Airport Authority of India, Affordable Housing for VUDA, AUDA, AMC at SDCPL. He managed the “Green Building” Certification & Documents at SDCPL. He also undertakes design of Sewerage Network for City Level Projects.

His love and commitment for Research and latest construction Technology and Materials vis a vis solving common man’s problems qualifies him to create and edit content related to home.

He is also one of the key members of the development of 1mnt , one of the “first in industry” software developed by SDCPL along with other founders. It is going to be a game changer for building construction professionals. The software apart from Bill of Quantities and Measurement sheet generates tonnes of data as “Management Information System” acting as an innovative tool, eliminating cumbersome, time consuming, inefficient, inaccurate and costly process of bill preparation by civil building contractors. It provides detailed profit and escalation / sensitivity analysis on “Day Zero” with details of resources and management report / data for right project management i.e. resource planning and controlling cost as well as profit.

Before joining SDCPL, during his college time he has worked as Student Ambassador & Teaching Assistant at Kingston University, London. He has also worked as Postman at Royal Mail, London.

He is a member of some professional bodies such as, Engineering Council of India (ECI), Institute of Civil Engineers – (ICE – UK), The Institute of Structural Engineers (ISTRUCTE – UK).
